The e3 mentoring program matches at-risk youth in middle and high school with professional and community mentors on a one-on-one basis. The mission is to create and facilitate God-ordained relationships between a mentor and a child. By targeting issues such as staying in school, finding part time work, developing character and teaching students how to set goals we hope to affect the community for generations. Students are exposed to individualized tutoring, cultural activities, sports and travel in an effort to give them a global perspective and hope for attaining their dreams. Our vision is to allow a child to experience God through someone and see God in someone.
The e3 program provides the opportunity to measure each mentee’s success and growth on a personal scorecard, along with their goals.
The scorecard focuses on 5 main areas:
- Life Skills
A target goal of 250 points per semester provides educational and relational rewards for mentees. In addition, the mentees will be rewarded 2 semester trips a year for their achievement.E3 Scorecard
